This policy describes how Grazu (“we,” “us”) handles information when you use the Grazu mobile application (the “App”). Contact: support@grazu.app
Account and profile. We collect what you provide when you register or update your profile, such as email, username, display name, profile photo, and optional nutrition goals.
Content you create. We store posts (including photos), comments, likes, macro and nutrition data you log, and your participation in challenges. We also store technical data needed to run feeds, search, and notifications.
Device and local storage. We may use on-device storage for preferences (for example display settings) and use standard app diagnostics to keep the service reliable.
Photos and media. With your permission, the App can access your photo library so you can select images for posts or your profile.
Microphone and speech. With your permission, the App can use the microphone and speech recognition so you can log meals by voice. Transcribed text and related messages may be sent to our servers to interpret your input and return nutrition or logging suggestions.
Location and places. If you use features that attach a restaurant or place to a post, we may process place names or location that you search for or select.
Service providers. We use vendors for hosting, authentication, storage, and database services (for example, Supabase and cloud infrastructure) to run the App. They process data on our instructions.
Third-party APIs. We may send queries to third-party data providers to return nutrition and place information you request, subject to their terms and policies.
We use information to provide and improve the App, secure accounts, show content you request, run challenges and social features, compute trends and statistics you see, respond to support requests, detect abuse, and meet legal obligations.
We share information with service providers as described above. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and security. If we are involved in a merger or acquisition, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, where permitted.
We keep information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service and comply with law. You can delete your account at any time in the App under Profile → Settings → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and removes your profile, posts, and related data. You may also contact support@grazu.app if you need help; we will describe any limitations, such as data we must retain for legal reasons.
We use reasonable measures to protect information. No system is perfectly secure.
The App is not intended for children under 13, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe we have, and we will delete it.
Your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate. If local law provides you rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing, you may contact us and we will respond in line with applicable law.
You can change permissions in your device settings. Some features will not work without them. You can update certain profile data in the App, where available.
We may update this policy. We will post the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy, subject to applicable law.
